When Namulanta became a mother, she felt overwhelmed with the prospect of raising a daughter in today’s world. From establishing boundaries with men and contending with unrealistic beauty standards, to navigating the pressure to have a successful career as well as be the homemaker – the expectations that a young woman must face are daunting.
