  • About the Author

    Tony Browne has 22 years of teaching experience training officers from yacht to large vessel in all maritime subjects for deck officers and all short courses. He currently teaches Leadership for shore-based fleet managers and Diploma in Maritime Managent and Leadership at Lloyds Maritime Acady. Much of his year is spent in Palma where he teaches in partnership with Bluewater Yachting. He also provides intensive oral training along with external verification of training establishments on behalf of the Scottish Qualification Authority authorised by the MCA. His website is www.tstarmet.com. Robert Avisb had more than 350,000 miles at sea and command experience of eleven warships and six superyachts up to 75m. He taught navigation and radar at this level both in the UK and overseas.
