    Simon Jollands is a former TV producer. A lifelong sailing enthusiast, he has filmed many major sailing events as well as writing and directing several sea safety films for the RNLI. He is the co-founder of app developer The Other Hat, which specialises in producing nautical reference apps. He is also the author of iSafe Skipperi and iReeds Lights, Shapes and Buoyage Handbooki, both published by Adlard Coles.
